Two indoor units — a slim wall unit and a low floor unit — and one quiet condenser that can run the whole house. Every one a DC inverter heat pump, independently certified.
And every unit heats as well as cools. These are air-to-air heat pumps — in January they deliver up to four units of heat for every unit of electricity, from the same slim units on the wall.
Two styles of indoor unit
Every room gets one of two indoor units, chosen with you at the design visit. The wall unit mounts high out of the eyeline, a flat fascia with no visible louvres. The floor unit sits exactly where the radiator did — the strongest heater in the range and our quietest. Both wear the quiet Coole & Frost badge; our paint-ready fascia, sprayed by your decorator to match the wall, is coming soon.
The wall unit — two sizes
Your design visit matches the unit to each room's heat load. Oversizing wastes money; undersizing wastes the whole idea.
Principal bedrooms, living rooms and most rooms in between. It glides all the way down to 0.65 kW, so one unit suits nearly every room in the house. A slim 201 mm deep, with night mode from 34 dB(A).
The smallest case we make — just 193 mm deep. For nurseries, studies and box rooms where even the standard unit would feel a size too big: 2.1 kW, handled gently.
Larger wall units are available by special order — though between them, these two cover every room a London home can offer.
The floor unit
Where a wall unit isn't the right answer, this sits low against the wall — a metre wide, 23 cm deep, quietly doing the radiator's old job in both directions. The same case can mount at ceiling level instead, which rescues awkward lofts and kitchens.
The outdoor unit
One condenser can run the whole house. Ordinary installers bolt an outdoor box on the wall for every room; we fit a single unit and every room runs from it — which is also precisely what permitted development allows on a terraced or semi-detached house. Even the largest is a fifth of the permitted size. It sits on anti-vibration mounts below sight lines, and drops into night mode when the street goes quiet.
